Itinerary
Pick up at the city hotel /airport by 7am and proceed to the Northern frontier district via Isiolo to Samburu National Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch at the Lodge. Late afternoon game viewing drives. The reserve is rich in wildlife with fame for abundance in rare northern specialist species such as the Grevy Zebra, Somali Ostrich, Reticulated Giraffe, Gerenuk and the Beisa Oryx (Also referred to as Samburu Special). Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp.
- Depart from Nairobi early, journey through Isiolo to Samburu.
- Arrive for lunch at the lodge followed by an exciting late afternoon game drive.
- Spot the rare "Samburu Special" including Grevy’s Zebra and Reticulated Giraffe.
Early morning and afternoon game viewing around a peaceful Samburu reserve with variety of wildlife e.g., gerenuk, Oryx and reticulated giraffe one can also see the famous lioness ‘kamunyak’ known for adopting Oryx calves, option of a full day game drive with lunch can be organized. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp.
- Early morning game drive to spot Gerenuk, Beisa Oryx, and Reticulated Giraffes.
- Continue with another thrilling game drive, visit Kamunyak’s famous lioness.
- Full day game drive with packed lunch.
After breakfast depart and drive past Mt Kenya towards Nanyuki. Enter Ol Pejeta conservancy and have a game drive en route towards the Sweet Waters Camp arriving in time for lunch. The conservancy safeguard vulnerable species including black rhino and chimpanzees. Other vulnerable or endangered species that live here include elephant, African wild dog, cheetah, lion, leopard, hippo, Grevy’s zebra and the locally threatened Jackson’s hartebeest. Afternoon game drive with a visit to the Chimpanzee Sanctuary. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp.
- Depart for Ol Pejeta Conservancy via Mt. Kenya.
- Arrive at Sweet Waters Camp, enjoy a game drive en route.
- See endangered species like the Black Rhino, Chimpanzee, and African Wild Dog.
- Visit the Chimpanzee Sanctuary.
After breakfast, check out and drive towards Aberdares National Park arriving in time for lunch at Aberdares Country Club. In the afternoon transfer to The Ark for afternoon and night game viewing where you will be able to see animal coming for a drink in the nearby water hole. Dinner & overnight at the lodge/camp.

- Lunch at Aberdares Country Club.
- Enjoy game viewing at The Ark, watching animals at the waterhole.
After breakfast, check out and drive towards Lake Nakuru National Park. Drive via the equator and the Great Rift Valley Viewpoint arriving in time for lunch. Have an afternoon game drive. The woodlands and forest are now home to both black and white rhino. Buffalo, leopard, lion, Rothschild's. Later in the evening return for dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp.
- Drive to Lake Nakuru National Park via the equator and Rift Valley.
- Game drive through the park, spotting rhinos, buffalo, and birds.
- Return for dinner at the lodge/camp.
After breakfast, check out and drive towards Masai Mara via Narok town arriving in time for lunch at the lodge/camp, later in the afternoon proceed for an afternoon game drive spotting wildlife on the plains of Masai Mara until sunset. Dinner and overnight the lodge/camp.
- Depart for Maasai Mara via Narok.
- Arrive at the lodge for lunch, then head out for an afternoon game drive.
- Enjoy sightings of the Big Cats, giraffes, and zebras.
After breakfast, check out for a full day game drive carry with you picnic lunch box. Wildlife is abundant in the Reserve with the gentle grasslands ensuring that animals are never out of sight. Birds are prolific, including migrants, 450 bird species have been recorded here. Every year Mara plays host to the world’s greatest natural spectacle, The Great Wildebeest Migration from the Serengeti. The big cats - lion, leopard, and cheetah. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp.
- Embark on a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch.
- Spot the "Big Five" (Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo) and various bird species, including the famous wildebeest migration (seasonal).
