Amboseli national park is at an altitude of about 1200m – 1400m and beautifully situated beneath the foot of the majestic snowcapped Mt. Kilimanjaro. It has large herds of wildebeest, zebras, elephants, giraffes, lions, and a variety of other animals and birds all of which are attracted to this park due to its permanent supply of water that filters through the volcanic rock from Mt. After breakfast, check out an drive towards Tsavo East National Park arriving in time for lunch, afternoon on game drives . Tsavo East is generally flat, with dry plains across which the Galana River flows. Other features include the Yatta Plateau, which is world's longest lava flow, runs along the western boundary of the park above the Athi River. Its 290 km length was formed by lava from Ol Doinyo Sabuk Mountain. The Park features the Shetani & Chaimu Lava Flows, later in the evening for dinner and overnight at the Lodge/Camp - Full Board.
