Itinerary
Arrive at Kigali International Airport. Meet and greet by a professional driver-guide. Transfer to your hotel in Kigali for check-in. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Morning breakfast at the hotel. Half-day guided tour of Kigali, including visits to: Belgium Museum – Honoring the 10 Belgian UN peacekeepers. Nyamirambo District – Kigali’s oldest and most vibrant neighborhood. Kigali Genocide Memorial – A tribute to the 1994 genocide victims. Lunch at Khana Kazana restaurant. Scenic drive to Volcanoes National Park. Visit Ellen DeGeneres Campus – A hub for gorilla conservation and research. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
Early morning breakfast at the lodge. Gorilla trekking experience in Volcanoes National Park: Small groups assigned for tracking based on fitness levels. Guided hike through the rainforest to observe gorilla families. Spend up to one hour with the gorillas in their natural habitat. Lunch break at the lodge.
